Stone Ward has a new client, the South Central Honda Dealers Association, and the Little Rock advertising agency will be developing new creative concepts for the group of seven Honda dealerships in three states.
The deal, announced Monday, will include advertising, design, social media, digital marketing and media planning and purchasing. According to a news release from Stone Ward, the firm will develop marketing ideas that “not only reflect the national brand’s standards and messaging, but also incorporated community engagement and goodwill.”
The dealerships in the association are Honda World in Conway; McLarty Honda in Little Rock; Orr Honda of Hot Springs; Smart Honda in White Hall; and Russell Honda in Sherwood; as well as Holmes Honda in Shreveport, Louisiana; and Orr Honda in Texarkana, Texas.
Neither the association nor Stone Ward provided financial details of the contract.
“It was Stone Ward’s experience and long track record of developing innovative and award-winning integrated communications programs that led us to choose them as our marketing partner,” said Jarrod Russell, president of South Central Honda Dealers. “The agency demonstrated a strong understanding of our customers and markets, and we believe this partnership will allow us to better articulate our unique benefits to those looking to make a vehicle purchase in our region.”
Russell, who is also general manager of Russell Honda, said one of the goals of the advertising push will be to create a cohesive marketing program focused on a “unified brand voice” for the dealers in the association. Further, the dealers hope to heighten engagement with their communities.
The dealers association joins Stone Ward clients such as the U.S. Soccer Federation, Sport Clips Haircuts, Snap-on Tools, Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Baptist Health, Sissy’s Log Cabin, Chenal Properties and the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.
Millie Ward, Stone Ward’s president, said the agency is eager to get to work on the account.
