Gina Hogue
Arkansas State University on Thursday named one of its longtime administrators, Gina Hogue, associate dean of the College of Liberal Arts & Communication.
She will fill the vacancy created when Deborah Chappel-Traylor returned to the classroom at the end of July after serving for seven years as associate dean.
Hogue, a member of the history faculty, was most recently associate vice chancellor for teaching and learning.
She was a member of the team that instituted the iPad Initiative leading to the university’s First-Year Experience Program’s selection as an Apple Distinguished Program. Hogue also worked on special initiatives to advance classroom technology and coordinated with groups like the P-20 program.
She will continue to manage the A-State Faculty Center and oversee the Arkansas State University Digital Press in partnership with Cherisse Jones-Branch.
