CNN Extends Alice Stewart’s Deal

1 min read

CNN will be keeping a talking head from Arkansas on the air for the 2018 midterm campaigns, extending the contract of former KARK-TV, Channel 4, reporter and anchor Alice Stewart.

The Republican political analyst and Georgia native spent 17 years in Little Rock and was a loyal aide to former Gov. Mike Huckabee. She also worked on his presidential aspirations.

She has been providing political analysis for CNN for more than a year and a half, she said. Stewart also has a devoted following on Twitter, where she’s @alicetweet.

“I have found that you always get the harshest criticism from the brave souls who won’t put their name on their Twitter account and have a picture of a cat as their image,” she told Arkansas Business.

A University of Georgia graduate, she has worked on the presidential campaigns of Sen. Ted Cruz, Sen. Rick Santorum and Rep. Michele Bachmann, as well as Huckabee’s.
