1 min read

The Arkansas District Export Council is accepting applications for the 2018 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Global Trade to recognize the exporting excellence and successes among Arkansas small, medium and large enterprises.

Applications are being accepted until April 27 and can be downloaded here

A luncheon and awards presentation will be held at Arkansas Governor’s Mansion in Little Rock. The date and keynote speaker for that event will be announced in the coming weeks, and Gov. Asa Hutchinson will attend it.

In addition to self-nomination, companies may nominate Arkansas-based manufacturing or agriculture companies actively selling in international markets.

The ArDEC is a nonprofit organization comprised of members of Arkansas’ exporting community, and its members are appointed by the Secretary of Commerce. The Governor’s Awards originated in 2009, a result of joint efforts of the ArDec, Arkansas Economic Development Commission, U.S. Commercial Services and Arkansas World Trade Center.
