Courtney Menefee has been named chief lending officer of Armor Bank in Forrest City and its holding company, Big Creek Bancshares Inc.
He will head efforts to expand the bank’s service area into central Arkansas.
Menefee brings 15 years of banking experience to Armor, including serving for the past eight years as a commercial banking manager in central and northeast Arkansas for Regions Bank. Prior to that, he spent seven years with Centennial Bank in Little Rock.
Menefee is a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s National Commercial Lending School and Arkansas State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance.
He is also a member of the Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXX.
A Wynne native, Menefee began his banking career with First National Bank of Wynne at the age of 15.
