Bowens, Manyam Begin at St. Bernards (Movers & Shakers)

Dr. Rudolph Bowens Jr. has joined St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro as a urologist, and Dr. Bose Manyam is the hospital’s newest cardiologist.

Bowens earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, as well as his general surgery residency and a general urology fellowship. He has practiced at several Indianapolis hospitals, including Riley Hospital for Children, Wishard Memorial Hospital, Roudebush VA Hospital and Methodist Hospital.

Manyam earned his medical degree from Rangaraya Medical College at Andhra University in Kakinada, India. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and joined Elmhurst Hospital Center as a cardiology fellow at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.


Kristina Garcia has been named market manager at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.

Garcia was instrumental in CHI St. Vincent Infirmary’s redesignation last year as a Magnet hospital, a designation recognizing nursing excellence. She previously served as a nurse educator in the cardiovascular and cath lab facilities.
