Bill Jones of Sissy's Log Cabin in Pine Bluff
Bill Jones, chief executive officer of Sissy’s Log Cabin in Pine Bluff, has won the Excellence of Service Award from the Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California to be presented on Oct. 12.
Robert Thompson of Pine Bluff has been appointed district governor for Rotary International District 6170.
He will serve a one-year term ending June 30, 2020.
Thompson is also an adjunct instructor for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and secretary of the faculty/staff senate.
