John Krebs has been named the Willis H. Holmes Distinguished Professor of Music at Hendrix College in Conway, where he has been a professor of music.
Krebs has served as president of the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association, chaired the Humanities Area of Hendrix College, and served three terms as chair of the Department of Music.
Matthew Moran has been named the Elbert L. Fausett Distinguished Professor of Biology at Hendrix, where he has been a professor of biology, teaching courses on ecology and evolution, zoology, field ecology and natural history.
Wayne Bailey has been promoted to senior production coordinator at Conway Corp., where he will continue producing local programming, commercials and promotional sports for Channel 5/585.
Other promotions announced by Conway Corp. include Jake Ballard to senior lineman, Eric Bell to customer service specialist, DeAnna Smith to human resources specialist, Shelly Smith to fixed-asset accounting technician, Jake Stewart to business class services specialist, and Ryan Tucker to senior programming coordinator.
Corey Free, Aaron Julian, Sean Maxfield and Andrew Nelson were promoted from broadband premises technicians to broadband premises experts.
