UAMS NWA Campus Names Tina Maddox Associate Dean

Tina Maddox, Ph.D., has been named associate dean in the College of Health Professions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Regional Campus.

Previously, she was associate dean for academic affairs in the College of Health Professions at UAMS in Little Rock.

Maddox, a registered and licensed dietitian, joined the UAMS College of Health Professions in 2010. She served as program director for the dietetic internship program from 2010 to 2018 and took on the role of associate dean of academic affairs for the college in 2018. 

Before working at UAMS, Maddox was a clinical instructor for 10 years at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

She earned a doctor of philosophy in nutrition from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, and a master of science and bachelor of science in dietetics from UCA.
