2 min read

Veteran Little Rock public relations professional Heide Harrell, who left the Stone Ward agency downtown at the end of last year, has joined The Rose Law Firm as a key cog in the firm’s plans to grow its business.

The firm, founded in 1820 and acknowledged as the state’s oldest active business, announced Harrell’s hiring Tuesday as director of marketing and business development.

Harrell, who worked as a senior public relations account manager and brand manager for Stone Ward for nearly six years, previously held similar positions at Mangan Holcomb Partners, another Little Rock ad agency, and at Delta Trust and Bank.

In her new job, Harrell will “oversee the strategy and implementation of all communications and marketing for the firm as well as cultivating new business relationships and exploring additional opportunities,” a news release from the firm said.

“Heide’s depth of experience and expertise … coupled with her active and enthusiastic involvement in our community, make her a great addition to our firm,” said Robyn Allmendinger, managing member at the firm. “Along with the recent opening of our northwest Arkansas office, this hire represents another strategic move in our plan to grow our firm and explore new and better ways to serve our clients.”

She is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and earned a master’s in applied communication studies from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Harrell holds the designation of Accredited in Public Relations by the Public Relations Society of America and is a past president of the Arkansas Chapter of the PRSA, as well as a member of the organizations National Professional Development Committee. She’s also a graduate of the Little Rock Regional Chamber’s Leadership Greater Little Rock program, and is on the board of Special Olympics Arkansas.
