The Venture Center and Apptegy of Little Rock launched a new program called VCTech on Thursday.
The program aims to heighten awareness of local technology startups and build on Arkansas’ legacy of technology innovation. It will entail quarterly networking events to generate interest in startups' products and services.
Mimi San Pedro, chief strategy officer at the Venture Center, said in a news release, “Arkansas is a global player in the tech industry, and our tech entrepreneurs are excited to build strong local communities for support and inspiration. ...we know Arkansans will support the future of tech growing right here in our own backyard.”
The Venture Center will host a kickoff event for the program from 5:30-7 p.m. on Aug. 2 at its office in the Little Rock Technology Park. Register to attend here.
