Did you know Wright’s Barbecue, the famed northwest Arkansas eatery that started in Johnson, is en route to Little Rock?

Whispers reported in June that owners were looking for a restaurant site in the capital city.

We’re now told the smokers are on the way after Riverdale McRiverdaleface LLC, led by T.J. Lefler and Jordan Wright, bought an 11,150-SF office-warehouse at 1311 Rebsamen Park Road in the Riverdale area of Little Rock for more than $1.8 million.

Who sold the headquarters of Yellow Rocket Concepts? Lost 40 Brewery LLC, led by John Beachboard.

On the backside of the sale, a 7,903-SF office building in downtown Little Rock was acquired to house Yellow Rocket, parent company of such restaurants as Camp Taco, Heights Taco & Tamale Co., Big Orange, Local Lime, ZaZa Fine Salad & Wood Oven Pizza Co. and, of course, Lost 40 Brewery.

The historic property was purchased for $1.2 million from 201 S Izard LLC, led by John Chandler.

Wright’s hopes to be open for business in the first quarter of next year.
