2 min read

A $22 million nine-property commercial portfolio has sold in North Little Rock, spanning retail, industrial, office, storage and residential assets. Cushman & Wakefield | Sage Partners of Little Rock brokered the sale.

The deal was led by Ryan Gibson, managing director for central Arkansas, CEO Marshall Saviers and Matt Imhoff, founder of Imhoff Commercial.

The seller, The Woodcrest Company, is the parent company that represents the longstanding holdings of Justin Matthews Sr., a prominent real estate developer in the early 20th century whose work shaped much of North Little Rock’s early growth.

The properties, located in North Little Rock and Sherwood, include:

  • Apple Valley (8000 Hwy 107, Sherwood) – Retail
  • Somers Plaza (5107 Warden Rd, NLR) – Retail
  • Lakewood (2513 McCain Blvd, NLR) – Retail
  • Vali-Hi (4540 JFK Blvd, NLR) – Retail
  • 2400 Crestwood (NLR) – Office
  • NE Mini Storage (5301 Warden Rd, NLR) – Storage
  • NE Business Park (5301 Warden Rd, NLR) – Industrial/Office
  • Villa Townhouses (4700 Randolph Rd, NLR) – Townhouses
  • Crossroads (1305 N Hills Blvd, NLR) – Industrial/Office

“This portfolio represents decades of investment in and commitment to the North Little Rock community,” Saviers said in a press release. “It’s rare to see a portfolio of this size and diversity come to market, and we’re proud to help steward its next chapter.”

The transaction was facilitated through a relationship between Cushman & Wakefield | Sage Partners and The Woodcrest Company. According to the release, the buyer, an Arkansas-based investor, has no plans for immediate redevelopment but intends to continue enhancing the properties as vital contributors to North Little Rock’s continued growth.

“The scale and asset mix of this deal, spanning retail, office, industrial, storage and residential, showcases the dynamic nature of the North Little Rock commercial market,” Gibson said in the release. “This sale reflects strong investor confidence in the area and reinforces the positive momentum underway in North Little Rock.”
