Dr. Kalaivani Sivakumar has been hired as medical director of the heart restoration, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplant program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She earned her medical degree in 2008 from Thanjavur Medical College in Tamilnadu, India.

Dr. Stacy Zimmerman has been hired as regional centers designated institutional official at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. A 1999 UAMS College of Medicine graduate, Zimmerman completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Tom Arens has been promoted to chief technology officer of ARCare of Augusta. He previously was senior vice president of technology.

Dr. R. Clinton Horan has been hired as a neurologist at Northwest Health in Fayetteville. Horan earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He completed his internal medicine internship and neurology residency at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City.


Sara Jones has been selected as the first head of school at Mount St. Mary’s of Little Rock. As head of school, she will be responsible for day-to-day management, ensuring the provision of academic leadership and strategic vision, maintaining a financially sustainable organization and upholding the student experience.
