Colliers Dickson Flake Partners Changes Name Again

Colliers Dickson Flake Partners Inc., the largest commercial real estate company in Arkansas, changed its name to Colliers International, effective Friday. 

The 37-year-old company, which has had changed its name twice since 2003, manages over 10.6 million SF of commercial space through offices in Little Rock and Bentonville.

"We are pleased to continue our growth by fully integrating our firm with Colliers International, and are proud to fly the Colliers International flag throughout Arkansas," President and CEO Kevin H. Huchingson said in a news release. "We want to be the very best provider of commercial real estate services to our clients who now extend out of the state and across the region. Colliers is one of the most recognized names in this business, and we want to continue our transition to a firm that is innovative and forward thinking in the services we provide our clients, while being able to maintain our local ownership and independence. The Colliers network allows us to do this."

The company was founded in 1971 as Barnes Quinn Flake & Anderson Inc. BQF&A joined with IBR Real Estate to form Dickson Flake Partners Inc. in 2003. When it acquired Lane Real Estate Services of Bentonville in 2005, it also joined the

Colliers network and adopted the name Colliers Dickson Flake Partners.

The firm has 95 employees and six principals: Huchingson, Phyllis Glaze, Mark Bentley and Denise Hanson in Little Rock and Steve Lane and Ramsay Ball in Bentonville. Co-founder Dickson Flake remains affiliated with the company.
