Have you heard about a big real estate transaction in the works for west Little Rock?
We understand Baptist Health has reached an agreement in principle to buy the 26.7-acre Leisure Arts development at 5701 Ranch Road.
The property includes a 71,762-SF office building and a 175,305-SF distribution center.
No word yet on the proposed purchase price.
At last check, the project carried a $17.2 million list price.
Baptist intends to relocate and expand its operations at 11900 Col. Glenn Road in west Little Rock. The 121,000-SF Baptist Health Schools Little Rock facility hosts 1,000 staffers and students during peak times.
The 16.5-acre campus also is home to Baptist support services, including home health, information technology and call center operations.
