2 Real Estate Companies Merge To Form Newmark Grubb Arkansas

Real estate firm Grubb & Ellis|Solomon Partners of Little Rock has joined forces with longtime co-listing partner Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, one of the world’s leading commercial real estate advisory firms. The new company, Newmark Grubb Arkansas, continues to be locally owned by Principal, CEO and Executive Managing Director J. Fletcher Hanson as well as Paul Esterer, who serves as principal and executive managing director.

After forming V3 Partners in 2004, Hanson and Esterer founded Solomon Partners Real Estate, a firm in northwest Arkansas that became affiliated with Grubb & Ellis on a national level. Grubb & Ellis|Solomon Partners was later established to serve real estate needs on a statewide basis and expanded in May 2011 through its acquisition of Hart Lazenby Commercial.

Newmark Grubb Arkansas is headquartered in central Arkansas, operating offices out of North Little Rock and Benton.

The new firm serves as a full-service, commercial real estate company that offers a wide range of services, including landlord representation, consulting services, tenant representation, investment sales and facilities management. NGA, which currently employs more than 25 full-time workers and real estate agents, manages more than 1 million SF of office, retail, mixed-use and industry property across Arkansas.

The merger, which became effective May 8, also signaled the end of Nabholz Properties’ franchise with Sperry Van Ness, a national, large-scale brokerage firm. Many of the company’s full-time advisers and team members have continued to work out of Nabholz Properties’ office at 700 Front St. in Conway.

“The transition allows me as CEO to focus more on our core business functions while partnering with a full-service commercial services firm like Newmark Grubb on services such as brokerage and leasing,” said Nabholz CEO Greg Nabholz.

Nabholz Properties, created in 1983, acquired a franchise from Sperry Van Ness International for its brokerage and leasing division in 2003. The company also recently completed the development of the Federal Plaza Building in downtown Conway.
