ABA Selects Three for Emerging Leaders Section Council (Movers & Shakers)

George Purvis, Evelyn Morris and Brandon Gentry have been appointed to the Arkansas Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Section Council.

Purvis, the council’s new president, is the vice president, facilities director, and special assets and appraisal coordinator for Cornerstone Bank in Eureka Springs.

Morris serves as the council’s vice president. She is the vice president of loan operations for First Financial Bank in El Dorado.

Gentry, the council’s secretary and treasurer, is the vice president of lending at Cross County Bank in Wynne.


Jackson Rhoades is the new branch manager, registered principal and discretionary client manager for Financial Services & Investment Strategies Group in Mountain Home.

Rhoades leads the 12-person team that has recently joined Raymond James Financial Services of St. Petersburg, Florida. He has more than 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, working with A.G. Edwards, Wachovia and Wells Fargo.

Donna Kaczmar is the assistant branch manager. Kaczmar also serves as client advocate and client account manager for the group.

Steve Bettenhausen is the new business controller. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently with Wells Fargo Advisors.


Jan Schmeski, Mike Stockton and David Matty have joined Financial Services & Investment Strategies Group as financial consultants.

Schmeski also serves as client contact manager and has more than 20 years of experience in financial services.

Stockton, with more than 11 years of experience, serves as client events manager, and Matty is the client manager for the group.

Matty has more than 15 years of experience.


Cindy Mowry, Kimberly Pace, Logan Stone, Summer Obert, Brock Bettenhausen and Sandy Rehak have also joined Financial Services & Investment Strategies Group.

Mowry joins the group as office manager, Pace as client relationship manager, Stone as client financial plan manager, Obert as client data access manager, Bettenhausen as client service manager, and Rehak as client estates & transfers manager.
