(Update: AETN reaches a compromise. Read our update here.)
The Arkansas Educational Television Network Commission, stuck in a monthslong standoff with its own fundraising nonprofit, the AETN Foundation, will meet in a teleconference call at 11:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The meeting is open under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, and though no agenda could be provided Monday evening, the rift with the foundation must eventually be discussed in public. More on the standoff, which was preceded by AETN Executive Director Courtney Pledger’s firing of longtime Foundation COO Mona Dixon in February, is available here.
To join the AETN Commission meeting by phone, dial (636) 651-3182 or toll-free (877) 873-8018. Use conference code 269 777.
Audio of the call, which will be recorded, is available at https://arkgov.zoom.us/j/686899071.
