Airport Adds Daily Little Rock-Washington Route

1 min read

American Airlines announced Monday that daily service between Clinton National Airport (LIT) and Reagan National Airport (DCA) will begin April 3.

Tickets are now on sale for the nearly two-and-a-half-hour flight that will be operated by American Eagle.

“Nonstop service to DCA, which has been heavily requested by both business and leisure travelers, is essential to connecting Arkansas to the nation’s capital,” LIT Executive Director Ronald Mathieu said in a news release. “We appreciate American’s continued investment in Little Rock as we have worked together for three years to restore this route.”

Service will be provided on an Embraer 175, a 76-seat aircraft that provides two-class service and includes Wi-Fi.

The schedule will include a 7:20 a.m. departure from LIT that will arrive at DCA at 10:40 a.m. Service will leave DCA at 5:55 p.m. and arrive at LIT at 7:35 p.m.

American has served Little Rock since 1931 and is the airport’s largest carrier. It also provides nonstop service from Little Rock to Chicago, Dallas and Charlotte.
