Angele Forrest, Arkansas public relations coordinator for IberiaBank, has been named president of the Arkansas Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators for 2013.
Joining Forrest as newly elected IABC/Arkansas officers for 2013 are:
- Susan Van Dusen, communications manager at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at UAMS, president-elect;
- Tim Holder, communications officer at Winrock International, vice president of membership;
- Kim Fox, assistant director of communications at UALR, vice president of special projects;
- Melanie Jones, marketing director at World Services for the Blind, vice president of communications;
- Neal Moore, creative director at The Communications Group, vice president of professional development;
- Tonya Oaks Smith, director of communications for the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law, vice president of outreach;
- Rachel Davis, deputy director of the Arkansas Healthcare Association, vice president of administration; and
- Robert Dunn, senior copy editor at Mangan Holcomb Partners, vice president of finance.
Also serving on the IABC/Arkansas Board of Directors is immediate past president Mike Collins, senior manager for Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
IABC/Arkansas is an educational and networking organization for professionals in all aspects of business communications in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, according to a Thursday press release.
