The median annual pay for architects in the United States was $74,520 in May 2014, the latest figures available. That compares with $35,540 median annual pay for all occupations.
For engineers, median annual pay in May 2014 was $88,720.
The figures come from the Occupational Handbook released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
