Nov. 6 is the deadline for nominations for the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame class of 2015.
Since 1987, the Hall of Fame has recognized a total of 148 Arkansans who are contributing or have contributed significantly to the agriculture industry in Arkansas. The Farm Bureau Center in Little Rock houses the Agriculture Hall of Fame, which is sponsored by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas Farm Bureau.
Butch Calhoun, chairman of the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame, said nominations are welcome from anyone. Additional information and online nomination forms are available at ArkansasAgHallOfFame.org. Forms can also be requested by calling MaLeta Stephens at (501) 228-1470.
The 2015 class will be inducted at a ceremony in Little Rock on March 4, 2016.
