The Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame is seeking nominations from the public for its 2014 class of honorees.
The nomination deadline is Nov. 14, and nominations may be made online at ArkansasAgHallOfFame.org. Honorees will be recognized at a ceremony scheduled for March 6.
“The history of Arkansas agriculture is filled with great men and women,” Chairman Cal McCastlain said in a release. “The role of the Arkansas Agriculture Hall of Fame is to honor the worthy individuals who made a profound impact on Arkansas agriculture.”
The Agriculture Hall of Fame is sponsored by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas Farm Bureau. It is housed in the Farm Bureau Center in Little Rock. Since 1987, 142 people have been inducted.
