The Arkansas Farm Bureau has selected the county winners for the 71st annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program.
Mark Hurt of Marianna, Isbell Family Farms of England and Phillip Ferebee of Brinkley are among the east-central district county winners of the Arkansas Farm Family of the Year Program. The other east-central district winners were Casey and Lea Skarda of Des Arc, Mike and Kelly Daniels of North Little Rock, Bart Haven of Forrest City, Shannon Feather of Higginson (White County) and Billy and Nancy Kyle of Augusta.
The north-central district’s winners were Vernon and Julie Fowler of Clarkridge (Baxter County), Chris and Lisa Davis of Drasco (Cleburne County), Lendal and Tammy Erby of Viola (Fulton County), Aaron Turner of Cord (Independence County), Tim Finley of Izard County, William Blasdell of Flippin, Brandon and Katrina McCallister of Marshall, Olen Wilson of Timbo (Stone County) and Jared and Lacey Standridge of Dennard (Van Buren County).
The northeast district winners were Mark and Michael Ahrent of Corning, Terry and Paula Grimes of Brookland, Michael and Kelly Pouncey of Hughes (Crittenden County), Derek Wood of Cherry Valley (Cross County), the Newberry Farm of Paragould, the WKW Partnership of Swifton (Jackson County), Mitch and Geta Bell of Saffell (Lawrence Count), Russ and Katie Thomason of Osceola, Brad and Jason Malone of Bono and the Redwine Angus Farm of Maynard (Randolph County).
The northwest district winners were Jeremy Jackson of Gentry, Carl Campbell of Harrison, Kevan and Lynn Flowers of Oak Grove (Carroll County), Tim and Beth Owen of Alma, David and Sandra Morris of Cecil (Franklin County), Michael Barr of Clarksville, Shannon and Melissa Fancher of Huntsville, Jake Moenning of Vendor (Newton County), Lynn Strang of Lavaca and Jerry and Dyanna Moyer of Lincoln.
Southeast winners were Jordan and Ashley Maier of Stuttgart, Dean and Tawana Watson of St. Charles (Arkansas County), Robert Watt of Crossett, Berkemeyer & Sons of Lake Village, James Dunnahoe of Tillar (Desha County), Tony and Letica Adams of Monticello, Joshua J. Euseppi of Altheimer (Jefferson County), Steve Scott of Star City and Darrin Davis of Lexa (Phillips County).
The southwest district winners were Wilson & Spurlock Farms of Hermitage (Bradley County), Josh and Shana Morris of Hampton (Calhoun County), Jeff and Jane Collumns of Hope, Mike and Polly Lee of Lewisville (Lafayette County), Cowling Family Farms of Foreman (Little River County), Jimmy and Crystal Hewitt of Fouke (Miller County), Todd Brown of Rosston (Nevada County) and Gary and Kristi Sewell of El Dorado.
Winners for the western district were Michael Lee of Conway, Mark Snow of Subiaco (Logan County), Wendell Adams of Mount Ida (Montgomery County), Jason and Christy Trantina of Bigelow (Perry County), Matt and Jessica Debnar of Mena, Shawn and Gayla Boxnick of London (Pope County) and Lewayne and Mary Hold of Danville.
In the west-central district, the winners were Wyndal Minton of Gurdon, Lathan and Sandra Erwin of Fordyce, James Parker of Hot Springs, Shelby and JoAnn Taylor of Sheridan, Mike and Jenny Lanier of Malvern, Randall and Kelly Pugh of Dierks (Howard County), Damon Helton of Benton and Walter John Marshall of Horatio (Sevier County).
A set of judges will visit these winners to choose one from each district, followed by a final visit to determine the overall state victor. The winner will be announced Dec. 6 in North Little Rock at the Farm Family of the Year luncheon.
