
Dr. Anton Lishmanov has joined the cardiology team at Arkansas Heart Hospital and is seeing patients at clinics in Saline County, Little Rock, Hot Springs, Danville and Russellville.
Originally from Russia, Lishmanov moved to Columbia, Missouri, in 2009, where he completed an internal medicine residency. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of North Carolina, followed by a fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore Medical Center in New York and an advanced interventional cardiology fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
Before taking the new job, he was in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida.

Erin Parker has been promoted to senior vice president and chief information officer at Arkansas Children’s Inc. in Little Rock. Parker, who had served as interim in the role since July, most recently served as vice president and system compliance officer.

Dr. Jennifer Laudadio has been named chair of the Department of Pathology in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ College of Medicine in Little Rock. A professor of pathology, Laudadio had been interim chair since Aug. 1. She was the pathology residency program director from 2014-19 and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act laboratory director from 2015-20.

Dr. Jyoti Chaudhary joined Unity Health-Searcy Medical Center as an internal medicine primary care physician in August. Chaudhary was trained at J.N.M. Medical College in Chattisgarh, India, and had her residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Her husband, Dr. Shailendra Singh, has joined Unity Health Rheumatology & Neurology. Singh has practiced medicine and rheumatology for 23 years, gaining board certification in rheumatology, geriatrics and internal medicine. He was trained at Johns Hopkins University, the University of Maryland and the University of Virginia.

Dr. Michael Poulos joined Unity Health as a rehabilitation hospitalist in August. Poulos completed his residency at Unity Health in July.
Dr. Nayana Paul, also a former resident at Unity Health, has been hired as a family medicine hospitalist.
Dr. James McMullin joined Unity Health Family Practice Associates in Searcy as a family practice physician in August. McMullin completed his residency at Unity Health in July.

Dr. K. Douglas Green, a neurosurgeon specializing in surgery of the neck and spine, joined Unity Health-Orthopaedic Spine Center in Searcy in October. Green completed his residency in 1998 at Kansas University Medical Center and has practiced in Iowa and at Ozarks NeuroSurgical Associates in West Plains, Missouri.

Dr. Alexis McCollum recently joined the Washington Regional HerHealth Clinic in Fayetteville.
McCollum earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
She has practiced in northwest Arkansas since 2017.
Mike Carver and Sarah Wang have been promoted to new positions at Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Little Rock.
Carver has been named director of the insurance carrier’s Information Systems & Technology Business Solution Center in Little Rock. Carver joined ABCBS in 2016 as manager of Technology Business Solutions. He has 28 years of experience in information technology and systems.
Wang, who joined ABCBS in 2011, has been promoted to director of quality programs. She will lead the Healthcare Effectiveness Data & Information Set audit team, the quality programs teams for the federal employee program and health insurance marketplace health plans, and the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission accreditation team.
Rich Huddleston, executive director of Arkansas Advocates for Children & Families in Little Rock, recently received the Florette Angel Memorial Child Advocacy Award from the Partnership for America’s Children, a national network of state and local child advocacy organizations.
