The Arkansas Hospitality Association’s 2014 Convention and Trade Show, set for Sept. 17-18, will be celebrating 70 years of Arkansas hospitality.
The gathering, at the Statehouse Convention Center, allows people in the industry to learn about other business, places and organizations and meet with potential visitors and customers.
The two-day event will include a silent auction, the Iron Chef competition and an awards gala to introduce newly-elected officers of the Arkansas Restaurant Association, Arkansas Travel Council and the Arkansas Lodging Association. Booth awards for exhibitors at the trade show will also be handed out.
In lead up to the trade show, the Arkansas Culinary Classic is set for Sept. 16 at the Statehouse Convention Center.
