Kendrea Jones
Kendrea Jones of Little Rock was installed Saturday as president of the Arkansas Pharmacists Association’s Arkansas Association of Health-System Pharmacists Academy.
Jones is a clinical pharmacist at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and an associate professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy. She was named president of the academy during the association’s its 134th Annual Convention in Hot Springs.
Jones is a member of APA, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy
She received her doctor of pharmacy from UAMS and has completed a pharmacy practice residency at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis and a Critical Care Specialty Residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences School of Pharmacy.
The Arkansas Association of Health-System Pharmacists key objective is to promote pharmacy as an essential component of the health care team.
