Craig Cockrell
Craig Cockrell has been accepted into the inaugural class of the Heart of America Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel.
Cockrell is an attorney with Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard PLLC in Rogers and holds a law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Joseph Gates of the Paul Byrd Law Firm has been selected to represent Arkansas on the national board of governors of the American Association for Justice.
The board oversees such decisions as budgets for the AAJ, formerly known as the American Trial Lawyers Association. Gates was inducted July 11.
Jacob Kauffman has been hired as communications director for the Democratic Party of Arkansas Coordinated Campaign Committee and will work with all federal and statewide Democratic campaigns.
Kauffman spent five years at the local National Public Radio affiliate KUAR before taking this new position.
