As you’ve probably heard, U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin, R-Ark., announced Monday that he won’t seek re-election to his 2nd District congressional seat.
After issuing a statement, Griffin made his first broadcast appearance on Alice Stewart’s radio show on KHTE-FM, 96.5 “The Voice.”
Among his comments:
We’re gonna step away from elected politics for a little bit. So I am not looking at any other political position here in Arkansas. I’m gonna finish my four years. I’ve still got about 15 months in Congress. And near the end of that I will start looking at my options.
