Don Keesee has been named western Arkansas division president at Bank of the Ozarks. Keesee, who has more than 30 years of financial experience in Arkansas, worked for Arkadelphia-based Summit Bank in Fort Smith until its recent acquisition by Bank of the Ozarks.
Cheyne Coverdale has been promoted to manager of the Wallace Knob branch of Arvest Bank at Mountain Home. Coverdale has worked for Arvest for about seven years, previously as an assistant bank manager. Brandon Scallion has been hired as a commercial lender in Arvest’s Mountain Home office. Scallion, who was previously employed by Bank of the Ozarks, received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a degree in community banking from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder.
Jason Miller has been promoted to community president for Fulton County by FNBC Bank of Ash Flat. Miller was community president for FNBC’s Salem office, and in his expanded role he will also oversee lending at the Mammoth Spring office. Miller joined FNBC’s investment division in 2003 and the bank in 2009.

Nicole Mitchell recently joined Colliers International Arkansas of Little Rock as a property manager. A Little Rock native and graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Mitchell previously worked as a purchasing agent and account manager at BBA Solutions Group.
Tracy Carter has joined Clark Partners Realty Group of Fayetteville as a buyer specialist. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Carter has more than 20 years of sales experience.
Health Care
Ryan Solomon has been hired as director of enterprise risk management in the general counsel’s office at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Solomon, a graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law, previously practiced law with the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock and was CEO of Legacy Neurosurgery of Little Rock.
Insurance
State Sen. Jason Rapert, R-Conway, has been appointed to the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission, a national organization that reviews insurance policies to ensure they meet necessary standards before being sold to consumers. Rapert chairs the Senate Committee on Insurance & Commerce.

Michael N. Shannon, a managing Member at Quattlebaum Grooms Tull & Burrow PLLC of Little Rock, has been selected to be a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a national association of trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of civil jury trial rights provided by the U.S. Constitution.
Nonprofits
Cole McCaskill has been hired by Hot Springs Metro Partnership to fill the newly created position of downtown development director. McCaskill is a member of the International Economic Development Council and the Arkansas Economic Developers professional associations and is pursuing certification as an economic developer by the IEDC.

Richard Hedgecock, executive vice president of the Arkansas chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, recently received the Certified Association Executive credential from the CAE Commission of the American Society of Association Executives.

Shara Brazear has been hired as director of marketing and business development for McCain Mall in North Little Rock. Brazear most recently worked as the communications specialist at the North Little Rock School District.
