Baptist Health Picks Mike Perkins to Lead NLR Campus

Baptist Health said Tuesday that it had appointed Mike Perkins as the new vice president and administrator for Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock. 

Perkins will begin work Monday overseeing overall management and day-to-day operations of Baptist Health’s North Little Rock campus.

Perkins, who is now vice president and administrator for Baptist Health Rehabilitation Institute, has been with Baptist for 27 years. He began his career in the Health Management Center at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock and later was promoted to assistant vice president of the hospital in 2001 and then vice president in 2003. He also served as vice president and administrator of Baptist Health Extended Care Hospital.

Perkins has served on the Arkansas Governor’s Council on Fitness and is a member of the Healthy Active Arkansas Operations Team. He was appointed to the Arkansas Acute Stroke Care Task Force in 2017. He also serves on the board of Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency.
