It’s been a match made in heaven for Ben Hollowell and Applied Technology Group.
Hollowell joined the North Little Rock drafting and design software firm, known as ATG USA, as CFO in 2007 and has since been given the additional title of president.
Over the last three years, Hollowell has presided over consistent annual revenue growth significantly above the industry standard.
Prior to joining ATG, Hollowell honed his accounting skills as controller at a division of Pirelli Tires based in Little Rock.
“After a few years there, I knew I had found my passion, and I was recruited to help a relatively new software company in what seemed to be an explosive growth area,” Hollowell said of his move to ATG. “The opportunity to provide strong fiscal guidance to a company and afford it stability gives me a sense of satisfaction that makes every day at work a challenge I rush to accept.”
Hollowell accepted another challenge: law school. Through the part-time evening program at UALR’s Bowen School of Law, Hollowell earned his J.D. over three and a half years and was admitted to the Arkansas bar earlier this year. “I’ve already been able to augment my business and financial leadership with this increased knowledge base,” he said.
Hollowell said his greatest accomplishment at ATG is helping create a stable company that provides for the well-being of its employees and their families.
“Our company is not only financially strong, but morally aligned as well,” he said. “We always do what is right for our customer and have seen that commitment pay dividends to the bottom line again and again.”
