Arkansas Federal Credit Union takes benefits seriously — not just for employees, but for their families, too. From education to health care, the company is investing in its workforce and the next generation.
Employee empowerment is emphasized with resources like tuition reimbursement all the way up to the post-grad level, clear career paths and leadership development opportunities. Dependents of employees, including children and stepchildren up to the age of 26, are eligible for education expense reimbursement up to $3,600 per year, and the funds can be applied to everything from pre-K and day care to vocational training or college degree programs.
The credit union also emphasizes the health of employees and their families. AFCU covers 100% of premiums for basic health, dental and vision plans; 74% of premiums for those enrolled in the premium plan; and 67% of premiums for the preferred provider organization plan. A free employee assistance plan provides staff with up to four behavioral health counseling sessions annually as well.
