Bill Reznicek
Bill Reznicek, who has served as the city of Jonesboro’s CFO for the past year, will also take on the title of chief operations officer for the remainder of 2018.
The city’s plan is to create a chief of staff position for Reznicek that will be included in the 2019 budget cycle that begins Jan. 1.
Reznicek is a principal at his private practice, Reznicek CPA PLLC, and previously served as vice president of supply chain for Setech Supply Chain Solutions LLC of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, according to his profile on social media website LinkedIn.
A St. Joseph, Michigan native, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Valparaiso University of Indiana and his master’s degree in accounting from the University of Memphis. He has held a CPA license since 1989.
Reznicek replaces Ed Tanner, who resigned as the city’s COO to accept a job in the public sector earlier this year. Roy Ockert has been interim COO for the past six months.
