October was a good month for two Little Rock startup tech firms — they received a total of $650,000 in investments.
One of them is Treatsie LLC of Little Rock, a service delivering monthly sample boxes filled with fancy candies. It collected $300,000, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.
The other is Bourbon & Boots Inc. of Little Rock, an online retailer of “the most interesting Southern & Americana finds” from T-shirts to knives, which received $350,000, according to its SEC filing.
The filing, though, didn’t say who dropped the money on the company, which started in 2012.
And the cash comes on the heels of $20,000 in funding secured earlier this year.
Matt Price of Little Rock, president of Bourbon & Boots, declined to comment on the stock sale.
It all sounds yumsie.
