Brandon Scallion Joins First Community Bank

First Community Bank of Batesville on Wednesday announced the hiring of Brandon Scallion as vice president, commercial loan officer at its location in Mountain Home.

Scallion will be responsible for producing a variety of commercial loans as well as generating and managing a portfolio of business relationships, the bank said in a news release. He has more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

Scallion holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Arkansas. He earned his graduate degree with a concentration in community bank management from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.

“We expect great contributions from Brandon’s leadership and track record,” Steve Dunn, community president in the Mountain Home and Harrison regions, said in the release. “Brandon comes to us with years of experience, and we know he will represent our organization very well.”
