BSR Trust LLC of Little Rock announced Monday that it has completed the purchase of Windhaven Park Apartments in Plano, Texas.
Windhaven is a 22-acre garden-style community with 474 apartment homes. It is near north Dallas’ largest employers, including the new Toyota North America headquarters, Hewlett Packard, Frito-Lay and PepsiCo and others.
This is BSR’s second property in the Dallas market and second acquisition in 2017. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Windhaven Park will be the largest single community in the BSR portfolio, which now includes just under 10,000 apartment homes throughout Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Mississippi.
The firm said it has grown its portfolio’s total apartment unit count by 14 percent in the last 18 months through new acquisitions and now owns and operates 47 apartment communities.
