Arkansas Foodbank distributed more than 30 million pounds of food to hungry families in 33 central and southeastern Arkansas counties during 2020. It did this through homeless shelters, schools, colleges, rehabilitation facilities, soup kitchens and 422 local pantries.
During the pandemic, the Foodbank shifted to packing food boxes shelf-stable food, devised innovative ways of safely distributing food and opened a new branch in Helena to serve the most food-insecure counties in our state.
