ARMI Contractors

Fayetteville’s ARMI Contractors is approaching its 20th year in business performing specialty process and utility piping work for food processing clients. Launched in 2003 by the father-son team of Brett and Tyler Wolff, the business now employs 55.

Removing old machinery and installing new equipment laid the foundation for the Wolff family to add a separate manufacturing division to build food processing equipment.

“The protein sector has kind of been our heart and soul,” said Rachel Merrick, communications manager of ARMI Contractors. “During the next 10 years, we plan to expand more into the beverage and dairy segments.”

The venture fields an experienced industrial team that can also deliver heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems as well as thermal fluid systems and tubular conveyance systems.

ARMI Contractors can manage projects through the design-build process or take on a task as a participant in design-bid work. The contracting division has done jobs from California to New York.

The company’s mission is to design, develop and deliver the highest quality of products and solutions in the industrial market through innovation, technology and workmanship.

Tyson Foods Inc. presented ARMI with the Contractor of the Year Award in 2011 in recognition of the company’s ability to complete projects quickly, safely and economically.

ARMI conducts business with an eye toward maintenance, operations, sanitation and safety: “We engineer our products/projects to be easily maintained. We strive to make our products user friendly to operate efficiently. We’re dedicated to making our products/projects as sanitary as possible. We’re committed to designing safety features for our products/projects.”

ARMI boasts of an unblemished track record of never laying off any employees. The venture received 2021 kudos for environmental stewardship from the city of Fayetteville and recognition as the Green & Sustainable Business of the Year from the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce.
