Farm 2 Table Project

Farm 2 Table Project

2024 Arkansas Business of the Year // Nonprofit Organization of the Year

Holland

The Farm 2 Table Project in Holland (Faulkner County) “feeds and serves without judgment,” said its founder, Patrick Colb. To that end the nonprofit supplies fresh produce, as well as hot meals, to those in need, including nonprofits primarily in the Conway area.

The project has 2 acres under production, growing organic vegetables like peppers, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce and collard and mustard greens.

Weather-related issues proved challenging last year, Colb said, and obtaining enough funding is always an issue. “It’s pretty tough being on a shoestring budget.”

Nevertheless, Farm 2 Table is planning to expand by 5 acres this year to launch a protein-sourced initiative, offering meats, eggs, chicken and milk.

The nonprofit receives support from the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance and the Arkansas Community Foundation, as well as from individual donors. All donations go “100%” back to Farm 2 Table, Colb said, and all of the workers are volunteers.
