Swept Away Janitorial

After moving to Jonesboro in the late 1990s, Ernesto Saucedo wanted to give back to the northeast Arkansas community, but he also wanted to set a new standard of professionalism in the commercial cleaning industry.

So in 2021 he founded Swept Away Janitorial LLC, growing it to a 145-employee company offering 24/7 commercial cleaning services.

“Cleaning staff are unsung heroes,” Saucedo said. “They are always there no matter if it is a holiday or inclement weather day to make sure your facilities are clean.”

Saucedo said his secrets to success are integrity, consistency and honesty, and he continues to invest the revenue Swept Away makes back into Arkansas.

His goals for the next five years include becoming a reference point for community-driven companies while paving the way for more successful Latino-owned businesses in Arkansas. “As a minority-owned company, we have the responsibility to lead this company in the best way possible and be the example for other minority-owned companies,” Saucedo said.
