We Are Few LLC

Digital design and development firm We Are Few LLC of Little Rock has an interesting origin story in that it was founded in 2014 by organizers of the annual Made by Few Conference.

That conference, held in Little Rock and hosted by the firm, was started a year before We Are Few came about. It brings digital designers, developers, creatives and entrepreneurs in the startup space together to learn from workshops and speakers as well as compete in contests and network with others in their field.

We Are Few, the company, creates mobile apps and custom software for and offers website design and development to midsize and large companies and organizations and funded startups.

Its focus is on designing and developing products and services in a way that improves the user’s experience with that product or service, according to CEO Zach Hill.

The firm has been involved in a few augmented reality projects as well and is working to provide a marketing strategy service to its clients. Hill said it makes sense for We Are Few to be a client’s longtime partner, both in providing technology to the client and in helping the client launch whatever product or service the firm created.

“As a company, I think, what sets us apart or makes us unique is a couple of different things,” he said. “One, we have a very unique culture where we specifically look for people who are focused on making an impact and making a difference with the work they’re doing. … We’re also unique in the sense that we are considered a remotely based company.”

Half of the firm’s staff of 15 is local, but other full-time employees are based throughout the country. They offer different perspectives and skill sets that can be more difficult to find in Arkansas, Hill said.

Even so, talent development continues to be a challenge for We Are Few, along with keeping up with trends in technology, Hill said.
