CARTI Names 2 New VPs (Movers & Shakers)

Patti Moser has joined CARTI of Little Rock as vice president of medical oncology, while Jeremy Land has been named vice president of radiation oncology.

Moser, a registered nurse and oncology-certified nurse, most recently served as chief operating officer of Sarah Cannon Cancer Center at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Land, who completed an advanced certification in radiation therapy at the CARTI School of Radiation Therapy, previously worked as regional director of oncology services for the South Denver Operating Group of Centura Health in Colorado.


Bridgette Lyon, Michael Tharel and Pader Moua are new hires at the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement, an independent health policy center in Little Rock.

Lyon’s new job is as administrative coordinator. Tharel is ACHI’s web manager. Moua is a policy analyst.


Dr. Stavros Manolagas, who serves in several roles at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, has received the William F. Neuman Award from the American Society for Bone & Mineral Research.

The Neuman Award honors an ASBMR member for outstanding and major scientific contributions in the area of bone and mineral research and for contributions to associates and trainees in training, research and administration.
