CaseStack Supply Chain Solutions: Embracing a Broad Company Culture

2 min read

Logistics and supply chain management software company CaseStack Supply Chain Solutions holds a regional office in Fayetteville, but its offices—much like the reach of its services—span from Arkansas to California to the Philippines.

Setting a casual, yet energetic vibe, CaseStack works to support a solid work-life balance for everyone involved. Birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated, with an employee receiving a “Happy Birthday” card and a lottery ticket on his or her big day. Company bowling nights, tailgate parties, costume contests, bingo breaks, pro baseball outings and summer kickoff lunch party are not uncommon pieces of the CaseStack landscape.

The company also hosts monthly “Poorman’s Fridays” where the company sponsors a small party for a non-business purpose with hula hoop contests, ice cream sundaes and 30 minutes strictly intended for fun and food.

“CaseStack is a high tech and logistics company. We don’t own assets such as trucks or warehouse buildings. We offer service and software,” said Pei-Ching Ling, executive director of finance and business process improvement. “Without our valuable employees, we wouldn’t have grown this quickly. We truly appreciate every employee’s efforts and innovative ideas. This is why we invest into morale-building events, good benefits, etc. in order to retain good employees.”

Those benefits include long term disability and basic life insurance coverage completely paid by CaseStack. Furthermore, much of the workforce is eligible to earn generous sales commissions or bonuses. The company also promotes a health conscious environment where many take it upon themselves to walk or ride their bike on their breaks, while also receiving a discounted gym membership and a monthly health topic on display around the office and on the employee portal.

CaseStack is no stranger to the charity scene, often collecting money, food and items of clothing for victims of recent recent natural disasters, as well as toys and food around the holidays.

Since our company is very fast-paced and at times can be stressful, we make sure that all our employees feel as an important contributor to the team.
 — Pei-Ching Ling, executive director of finance and business process improvement.

Neat Thing We Do
Despite CaseStack’s role as a logistics company with no direct product manufacturing, it still has taken a keen interest in green practices and sustainability. The team there has been able to drive down costs for our clients by helping develop some of these sustainable practices. Onsite, CaseStack has a recycling program, uses post-consumer recycled office supplies when possible and even replaced disposable cups with ceramic mugs.
