Cassandra Steele has been elected to the board of directors of the central Arkansas chapter of the American Heart Association. She is the coordinator of speech and hearing services for the Little Rock School District.
Ann Bowick Owen has been hired to coordinate the 2016 Arkansas Cornbread Festival on Oct. 29 on South Main Street in Little Rock. Owen, a Georgia native, has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree from the University of Arkansas’ Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock. She previously worked for Heifer International and the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center.
Terri Bonner of Little Rock has been elected to the Methodist Family Health Foundation board of directors. The foundation is the fundraising arm of the nonprofit Methodist Family Health, which provides emotional and behavioral health care to children and families in Arkansas.
