1 min read

Community Health Centers of Arkansas (CHCA) announced that Tafta McCain has joined the nonprofit as chief financial officer (CFO).

McCain accepted the full-time role after working with the organization under contract for the past 18 months, CHCA said in a news release.

She brings more than 25 years of accounting and financial experience, including nearly 15 years as CFO for Mainline Health Systems Inc. of Sweet Home.

“Tafta is a proficient problem solver who is passionate about community health,” said Lanita White, CEO of CHCA. “We are delighted to have her full-time. What makes this especially exciting is that she already understands our systems, our grants, our partners, and the unique financial landscape of Arkansas community health centers. That depth of knowledge is a tremendous asset to our organization.”

CHCA works to expand access to affordable, quality health care while serving as a unified voice for the state’s 12 community health centers. Together, these centers operate more than 230 locations across Arkansas.
