Chris Mathews
Chris Mathews has been re-elected chairman of the Little Rock Port Authority Board of Directors.
Mathews became chairman in 2014, and since joining the board in 2006 has served as treasurer and vice chairman.
Mathews owns and operates two local businesses: National Custom Hollow Metal Doors and Frames (formerly Bush Caldwell) and Maple Leaf Awning and Canvas, according to a news release.
“This past year has been one of positive growth and new directions,” Mathews said. “As we finish the development of our strategic plan, and begin implementing the identified objectives, I believe this port will become even more important and critical to central Arkansas’ economic vitality and ability to compete on the global stage.”
The board also elected Dexter Doyne vice-chairman and Melissa Hendricks treasurer.
