Clay Fisher, chief marketing officer for Kinetic by Windstream
Kinetic by Windstream, a business unit of Windstream Holdings Inc. of Little Rock, announced the hiring of Clay Fisher as chief marketing officer.
Fisher was previously senior vice president of consumer marketing and revenue at The New York Times, where he oversaw the transition from a primarily ad revenue-based business model to a subscription-based business model by doubling subscriptions in just three years.
Prior to that, Fisher was vice president of the digital media group for DirecTV. He’s also held a range of marketing leadership roles for Travelocity, Monster.com and his own digital marketing agency.
“Clay’s success in customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth will bring an added level of sophistication to our marketing efforts that will elevate the Kinetic brand,” Jeff Small, president of Kinetic, said in a news release.
Fisher holds a master’s degree in technology management from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in marketing from George Washington University.
