Conductor, an entrepreneurship support organization based in Conway, is launching a new peer group initiative to provide business owners with structured, ongoing support from fellow entrepreneurs.
The Conductor Peer Groups, hosted at the Arnold Innovation Center (AIC) in downtown Conway, are designed to help business owners solve challenges, share insights and grow alongside a trusted group of founders at similar stages of business.
Conductor supports entrepreneurs and small businesses leaders across the state through workshops, one-on-one consulting and resource navigation. With this expanded program, the organization aims to deepen long-term peer support and help business owners move forward.
Each Peer Group will consist of up to twelve business owners who meet monthly for two-hour sessions at the AIC. Groups are curated based on business stage — such as early-stage founders or scaling companies — while remaining industry-agnostic to encourage open conversation and avoid conflicts of interest. Members will fill out a check-in form before each meeting and participate in structured discussions focused on their current challenges, opportunities and next steps.
To participate, individuals must be business owners or operators and active members of the Arnold Innovation Center, where membership starts at $25/month. While the groups are self-facilitated, the Conductor team will provide administrative support, onboarding, calendar coordination and ongoing guidance to help keep groups productive and engaged.
“Great businesses are rarely built alone. Through our peer groups, we’re connecting entrepreneurs for real conversations, real solutions and real accountability,” Grace Rains, Conductor’s executive director, said in a press release.
A clear attendance policy and confidentiality expectations aim to help maintain a high level of trust and consistency within each group. Business owners can apply to join an existing group or express interest in new groups forming based on demand.
“Peer groups have truly been one of the most impactful resources for my business.” Julia Bryant, current AIC Peer Group member and owner of New Haus Marketing Studio, said in the release. “It can be difficult to find a space where you can openly share challenges, bounce around ideas and get thoughtful, honest feedback. This group has provided that and more.”
